Kennesaw Caterer Prepares For Annual Thanksgiving Tradition:
Turner's Catering Selects its 2004 Special Thanksgiving Family
Kennesaw, GA. This year marks the fourth time that Turner's Catering has selected a family to host on Thanksgiving Day. Each year Turner's Catering prepares a full course traditional Thanksgiving meal with all of the trimmings and serves it to a deserving family. In the past, they have served Thanksgiving meals to families who did not have the means to put together the traditional meal themselves, including a single mother with five daughters. This year, a special family in Savannah will be the recipient of this Turner's Catering tradition. The family, who wishes to have their name withheld, has had some financial and health challenges in 2004 and that is why owner, Gwen Turner, wants to honor them.
"We all experience challenges in life. However, at Turner's Catering we believe it is a gift to share with those who may be experiencing hardships. That is why we are dedicated to making this a memorable holiday season for them despite their challenges."
Each Thanksgiving, Turner contacts local churches, non-profit organizations or county services to find a family in need. She and her staff, then prepare the entire meal from stuffed turkey with dressing and gravy to pies and cakes.
Turner's Catering is a full-service licensed and insured off-site caterer. This eight year old company started in Montclair, New Jersey in 1996 and moved to metropolitan Atlanta in the year 2000. Turner's caters personal and corporate affairs and has had a full spectrum of clients, including: the Biltmore, UPS, Suntrust, Aids Walk Atlanta, Bank, Leggett & Platt Inc.
They specialize in customized menus that suit the hosts' palate requests. Nothing is too hard for Turner's Catering. Your wish is their pleasure to provide. The owner, Gwen Turner, is a prolific cook who features many recipes handed down through her family. The co-owner is a gradute from the New York Restaurant school in 1995 as a chef. He has been in the restaurant business for the past 28 years.
Turner's Catering has catered events as far south as Savannah and as far north as Winder, Georgia. Based in Kennesaw, Turner's Catering delivers delicious and delectable quality food at a reasonable cost.
